A little background about our farm
Welcome to Our Farm
Michigan Flower Farm was established in 2010 when we converted over from raising vegetables and animals to mainly flowers. Over the years we’ve handled thousands of d.y.i. weddings, a few farmers’ markets, sales to the public, florists, wholesalers, and our Flower Cart.
We’ve grown over 500 different varieties of flowers on the farm, adding new varieties and subtracting others each year. This season we will grow around 320 different varieties.
Our goal has always been to provide the highest quality of locally grown flowers with the least amount of negative impact on our earth. Our field practices are organic, although we are not certified.
Last season I decided we were handling too many avenues and I truly enjoy working with florists and designer the most. This season we are cutting back on the public aspects of the farm to concentrate more on our florists and designers, thus this new division of our website.
