Peonies-
Peonies are one of the most popular wedding flowers there are, and for good reason. Fragrant. romantic, big and beautiful, they bloom just in time for June weddings and store well into august with proper care.
Peonies are harvested as many as 4 times a day.

Peonies store in the cooler very well. We store them in bud stage (marshmallow stage) at 33-34°, dry and wrapped in newspaper.
- When you're ready to use them, recut the stems and place in floral food. Even in the cooler, they will start to open. If you need them to open faster, warm things up and keep an eye on them.
Peony and sunflowers
- We held some peonies very late this season. due to a spcial request for a tribute to a very special bride's grandmother. Her request was Michigan grown peonies and sunflowers for a late August wedding.

relation to storage time. Some varieties store better than others.
